CHARLIE CHAPLIN AT THE SYMPHONY
Dan's new pops program, Charlie Chaplin at the Symphony, will debut with the West Virginia Symphony in March 2009. After creating a silent movie live on stage, Dan will introduce Chaplin's comic artistry as only he can do, with plenty of audience interaction and lots of laughs. The show will climax with two classic Chaplin films, accompanied by new symphonic scores by conductor-composer Grant Cooper.

Dan has written a new book, The Comedy of Charlie Chaplin: Artistry in Motion. A treasure trove of previously unpublished pictures and new insights about the great comedian, this is a must-have for everyone who loves comedy. STOP THE MUSIC!
The Nashville Symphony has asked Dan to Stop the Music! Dan plays a policeman who arrests the entire orchestra for making too much noise. Can the conductor convince him that they have the right not to remain silent? This exciting new show will be just the ticket for kids to learn how musical instruments turn everyday sounds into music. The program debuts in February 2009.
